Technology Partnerships Manager
Build Our Partnerships Engine From the Ground Up
Blue Orange Digital is a data and AI consultancy that helps private equity firms and mid-market enterprises transform through AI-driven solutions. We partner with leading platforms like Databricks, Microsoft Azure, and AWS. We're aggressively expanding into AI partnerships with companies like Anthropic, OpenAI, and Cohere.
We're hiring our first dedicated partnerships leader to own and execute our technology partnership strategy. This isn't a portal-management role. You'll build relationships, drive pipeline, execute co-marketing programs, and coordinate across our entire organization to turn partnerships into revenue.
The opportunity: We have existing partner relationships that are underleveraged, a clear strategic direction, budget, and executive commitment. What we need is someone to own execution and make it real.
Type: Contractor.
What You'll Do
Build Partner Relationships
Own relationships across cloud partners (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft) and AI partners (Anthropic, OpenAI, Cohere, emerging platforms)
Develop partner champions who actively refer business to Blue Orange
Manage partner program requirements, tiers, and compliance
Represent Blue Orange at partner events and in partner ecosystems
Drive Pipeline
Generate partner-sourced leads through referral relationships and co-sell motions
Coordinate deal registration and partner involvement across our sales team
Track and report on partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue
Execute Co-Marketing
Plan and run partner events (executive roundtables, webinars, dinners)
Coordinate co-branded content (case studies, whitepapers, blogs)
Manage partner presence on our website and in the market
Coordinate Internally
Run partnership cadence with the sales team
Work with the technical team on certifications and demos
Keep leadership informed and escalate when executive involvement is needed
What Success Looks Like
90 days: Active relationships with 10+ partner contacts, first event executed, AI partnerships progressing, deal registration process running
6 months: $300K+ partner-sourced pipeline, 2+ AI partnerships formalized, partner AEs actively referring deals
12 months: $500K+ partner-sourced revenue, preferred partner status with key partners, scalable playbook documented
What You Bring
Required
5+ years in technology partnerships, alliances, or business development
Existing network in Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft, AWS, or AI company ecosystems
Track record of building relationships that generate measurable pipeline
Strong executive presence - comfortable with partner execs and internal leadership
Self-starter who thrives with autonomy
Preferred
Consulting or services partnerships experience (vs. pure product partnerships)
Background in data, analytics, or AI
Experience in building a partnership function from an early stage
Bonus
Technical fluency in data platforms, AI/ML, or cloud architecture
Experience with emerging AI partnerships (Anthropic, OpenAI, Cohere)
Content creation skills
What We Offer
Compensation: $120K-$160K base + 20-30% performance bonus tied to partnership metrics
Flexibility: Remote-first with travel for partner events
Budget: Resources to execute events, sponsorships, and partnership activities
Access: Direct line to executive team, high-visibility role
Growth: Build a function from scratch with clear path to expanded scope
Why This Role
You're not maintaining—you're building. Most partnership roles are about managing existing programs. This one is about creating something from the ground up.
AI partnerships are wide open. We're moving aggressively into partnerships with Anthropic, OpenAI, Cohere, and emerging AI platforms. You'll be building these relationships before the ecosystem gets crowded.
You'll have real support. Budget, executive sponsorship, a defined strategy, and a team that will coordinate with you. We're not asking you to do this in a vacuum.
Your impact is measurable. Pipeline, revenue, and partnerships formalized. You'll know if you're winning.
Background checks may be required for certain positions/projects.
